Re: Do you want the new ground to fail?
This is a very odd question to ask supporters, who in there right mind would want there team/club to fail? As that’s what is would mean, we can hardly collect our ball, say we don’t like it and go back to UP.

I should stick to what clobber people wear on match days woody.

''To be fair mate have you ever been to the Nou Camp or the Bernabau?''

Russ - Yep, been to both on a tour and stood right at the back, I completely disagree with you, the views in both were great at the back, the pitch at both are very close to the pitch and the stands are steep, almost vertical, so you still feel you are invloved with the action, unlike at the OS where the stands start well away from the pitch and then slope away, making players look like ants from the back.

Btw, did someone use the word 'thicko's' earlier??

No

Admittedly the travel links depend on where you are coming from. My two hour journey to the Boleyn has been cut to 1hr 15.

Re: Do you want the new ground to fail?
Better travel links? It takes longer to get to station than it did walking to plaistow?

Re: Do you want the new ground to fail?
What moron would want this? This is about our club being a success or failure.

We just need to settle in and sort a few things out.

Sort out the safe standing issue

Grass the entire surface and get rid of the green fuzzy felt

Get through this season without being relegated

I would also look seriously at any way we can add extra seating to the dugout side of the pitch to close the gap as I think this gives a false perspective on the ground.

Everything else is fantastic - hardly any queueing, much better travel links, nicer environment, excellent view and on the rare occasions its got going so far, we've seen the atmosphere can be great as well.

Settling in time is the most important thing here.

Dear 11MDE

Thank you for getting the tardy Daves to honour the season ticket discount.

Can you now get them to sort out the almighty fucking mess they have made of the club and all it stood for please? A transfer window in which one single purchase improves the squad would be nice too.

And while you are at it, if you can get them to sack that spiteful ugly fucking monstrosity Brady then I'll come up to whatever lounge you are in tomorrow and bum you myself.

Thanks in advance
MSP

Yes I want the new ground to fail. I want to hear tottenham fans saying what a joke of a club we are. I want us to have only 20,000 punters watching us in the championship. I want to moan about the board at every opportunity, and refer to people who don't want to stand up as divs

Nb: I am a cunt

11MDE

Why would you compare a sub-50,000 stadium that was designed for football/rugby with a much larger athletics stadium?
The Parc Des Prince is quite compact compared to the OS.
Go on, admit it, you're not quite as bright as you think you are and meant the Stade de France.

According to Wiki...

Parc res Princes...no seat further than 45 meters from the pitch...

So over 145 meters to the opposite goal ...haha...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parc_des_Princes

What's the equivalent distance at OS...???

I like the new ground better than Upton Park, but that's just my opinion

I certainly want the new ground's stewarding/ bouncer policy to fail.

Sticking an errant apostrophe in 'thickos' has to be up there with "no-nothing" on the irony list.

Re: Do you want the new ground to fail?
So you think the Parc de Princes, with it's capacity of 48,583 has the SAME or WORSE viewing distances than the OS with it's 70kplus capacity?

I can only assume Johnson has gone to research viewing distances at the Maracana and the Parc Dec Princes.

Two (or is it one) or the biggest thicko's I've ever encountered on here.
